- First time in Darwin16/09/2009 - 12:03pm16/09/2009This was my first time in Darwin, and I booked online initially, and then phoned, as being a little older, I don't have much faith in this 'internet' stuff! When I phoned, my call was answered by friendly staff, who enquired about my interests in the area. They kindly organised to send me information and brochures on local activities, and this material provided me with great ideas for our few days in Darwin. As a result, we saw the Jumping Crocodiles, went on the Cape Adieu Sunset Dinner Cruise, went to the Mindal Beach Markets and visited the Casino. The things we did were fantastic, and I highly recommend going on these activities. The four of us had a fantastic time, and felt really 'at home', welcome and relaxed at the Resort. Thank you so much. Janice, Terry, Leah and Jessica.Written by: Janice Dufficy
- NT Local07/07/2009 - 11:29am06/07/2009I travel with my son Cooper (12mths) to Darwin from Katherine once a month to collect my husband from the airport when he travels to and from Thailand from work. I have tried many hotel, motels and parks and non can compare with the service and facilities of Hidden Valley Tourist Park. The park and its surrounds are beautiful and clean with pleasent and extremely helpful staff and only minutes from the airport. When travelling with a toddler you want the experience to be fun with little to no drama as possible - and the park provided this on many levels. The knowledge of Darwins attractions was helpful when chosing a day out & the convenience of the Cafe with its delicious meals an added treat. We stayed in the Family villa which was ideal for a family who has a little one at this age. I will continue to call on Hidden Valley Tourist Park to take care of my family every month.Written by: Shannon Lingard
- Exceeding Expectations!22/06/2009 - 9:53am20/12/2009
My son and I have just returned to Adelaide having spent 9 days at your resort. We travelled to Darwin to compete in the Karting Championships that were held there over the June long weekend.

I wish to congratulate you all on an excellent facility. Your friendly and obliging service made our stay very memorable. I would also like to say how much we enjoyed the evening meals that were supplied by the team at the Hidden Delights cafe. This initiative is very rare in caravan parks and after a long day at the track to be able to sit down to a wholesome meal (like mum cooks) at a reasonable price was outstanding. I have travelled extensively throughout Australia having been a caravaner for about 30 years. This is the first occasion that I have felt the need to say how much we appreciated a park and its outstanding service and facilities. I will have no hesitation in recommending it to others. We hope to return in the future. Keep up the great work and I hope the cafe can continue providing the same service and home cooked meals into the future.
Written by: Dave Boorman
